There has always been talk in the indie music world about which continent/country/city is the "hottest" hotbed of trend-breaking new music. First it was Seattle, Portland, Vancouver, the Pacific Northwest, then it was New York, LA, Austin, the Carolinas, then it was Tokyo, Montreal, Britain, Ireland...you get my drift.
Amidst all this passive aggressive competition between music snobs and indie blogger everywhere, once in awhile, we are all reminded that the Swedes have been pumping out quality sounds more consistently than any part of the world.
